Results typically start showing around the 4-6 week after injections. Some patients may need more than 1 treatment for optimal correction

Results may last up to one year

If injecting to the undereye area, you may experience bruising, swelling and some redness from the angiogenesis process. Angiogenesis is the new tissue formation process that involves an increased blood flow to the area. Some of these initial symptoms may be present for up to 2 weeks. If injecting in hair, you may have some soreness in the areas of injection and will be instructed to avoid harsh chemical products to hair or washing the hair for up to 24 hours after.

You should not get this treatment if one of the following applies to you:

• Untreated acute infections at treatment site

• Untreated malignant neoplasms at the treatment site

• Pregnant and nursing women

• Conditions in which aesthetic treatment is not advisable 

• Known hypersensitivity to any product component of PDGF 

  • PDGF-BB (ingredients: Water, Sodium Acetate, sh-Polypeptide-59 Dimer aka PDGF-BB) 

  • sterile, uncrosslinked, high- and low-molecular weight HA (ingredients: Water, Sodium Acetate, Hyaluronic Acid.

Just with any injection, there is a possible risk of developing bruising and or swelling post treatment. This is usually self-resolving and can be reduced by avoid blood thinning products up to 1 week prior to treatment. Other possible risks may include infection following treatment if the area is not kept clean and free of make up for 24 hours afterwards.
