Summer Skin Survival: Keep PigmentAway & Your Glow Here

Summer is great for making memories, but not for making new sun spots. Increased UV

exposure, heat, and sweat can all challenge your skin, making it more prone to pigmentation,

dehydration, and premature aging.

Why Does Pigment Get Worse in Summer?

Sunlight stimulates melanin production, which can make existing dark spots darker and trigger

new discoloration. Even a few minutes of unprotected sun exposure each day can add up over

time. Something I ALWAYS keep in mind is ‘Pigment has memory’ that's why it is so important to

protect your skin even after all the treatments/products that you do to improve your skin.

Your Summer Skin Survival Plan

☀️ Sunscreen is non-negotiable. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day, and

reapply every two hours when outdoors. My favorite is Pavise Dynamic Age Defense, it does so

much more than just an SPF!

🧢 Cover up when you can. Big hats, sunglasses, a nice umbrella, and UPF clothing provide

extra protection that sunscreen alone can't. You can find a cute hat, you just have to try!

💧 Hydrate inside and out. Heat and sun can leave skin dehydrated, making it appear tired

and dull. Drink plenty of water and use a moisturizer that supports your skin barrier. If you have

a hard time drinking water, try adding lemon or electrolytes to help you retain it better and taste

better!

✨ Don't skip your antioxidants. Morning vitamin C and other antioxidant products help

defend against environmental stressors while supporting a brighter complexion. I love

SkinBetter Alto Defense. Alto + Pavise is the perfect duo. Feels luxury and gives that healthy

glow!

Remember...

A summer glow shouldn't come from sun damage. Healthy skin is protected skin. By preventing

pigment before it starts and keeping your skin hydrated, you'll maintain a brighter, more even

complexion all season long and beyond.
